Balenciaga is a Paris-based fashion house founded in 1917 by Spanish fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga. The current creative director Demna Gvasalia works closely with the archives of the Balenciaga House to examine the original designs of the designer Cristóbal Balenciaga to maintain artistic integrity in cut, form and material, but in a contemporary key.
